My guest today is Niraj Kapur. Niraj is many things. An award-winning executive, Niraj has worked in corporate London for 23 years. From small businesses to a national newspaper to FTSE 100 companies, he's experienced it all and shares his insight, knowledge, big wins and horrible failures. A sales trainer, TedX Speaker, LinkedIn Top Voice, book author of 3 books including ‘Everybody works in Sales’.
These are reasons enough to invite Niraj to the show, but I personally find Niraj to be one of the most transparent people who posts consistently on LinkedIn: the good, bad, ugly, all of it. It feels like we’re going along the roller coaster together and this is rare, especially on LinkedIn with all of the fronts people put on to get business. We have a lot to learn from Niraj’s journey .
In this episode, Niraj shares how his family emigrated from India in the early 1950's to London and eventually reached Northern Ireland.
We also talk about Niraj's stellar 25 year career in Sales, which started after his original plan to be a rock star didn't exactly pan out.
