How I Got Hired

130. Sam Gratton: MBA in Barcelona, then a successful Banking career in London and why he ended it, then film-making & finally founding a global Communication training firm from scratch in Madrid

Sonal Bahl

I’ve been following Sam Gratton for 4 years on LinkedIn, where I came across one of his videos that had all of my favourite components: it was educational, entertaining and energizing. Sam is the founder of Gratton Communications, a communication training firm that helps people with Business English and Public Speaking. His clients include CEO’s and the management teams at Air France KLM, Amazon, LinkedIn, ThyssenKrupp etc. Today we will go behind this journey and retrace the steps Sam took to move from banking, where he held senior roles at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Banco Santander to starting his very own training firm from scratch.

There are so many cool stories, but my favourite one is at the end, make sure you listen till then!
